Picacho Peak rises 1,500 feet above the Sonoran Desert floor, southeast of Casa Grande, off Interstate 10 exit 219. The park includes hiking trails that lead to the peak’s summit as well as wind along its base. Every March the park sponsors a re-enactment of the Battle of Picacho Pass, the West’s only Civil War battle.
Open daily 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
